Large Yard Sale (newer, gently used items, vintage, collectibles and antiques) is scheduled for Saturday, July 4! Time: 9:00 to 7:00 p.m. Early sales are ok by me! South of Mankato on Highway 169 about 22 miles. North of Blue Earth on Highway 169 about 22 miles. Look for signs. Please check out the other 4th of July activities that will be going on in town that day, including the fireworks display at 10:00 p.m.!
Vernon Center is known for it's spectacular fireworks display!! The yard sale is located right next to the co-op field where the fireworks will be held!!
Items available are really too numerous to mention all of them. There will be many newer items this time. All price ranges, but plenty in the 25 cent to $1.00 range. From the old Vernon Center Auto, a complete Clinton Lawn Equipment Manual! This one is as complete as any I've seen, with the excellent black binder and arrowhead design. Museum quality. Clinton Collectors from Iowa will want to see this one!
2/ Microfilm machines. Both work. One is in excellent condition. One is from the old Cranes hardware store in Garden City, MN. Works, but older.
12" band saw, never used. Sears Craftsman. Retails at close to $300. Ask to see in garage.
