Florence Brown was born in 1911 and passed away in
2000. She lived all of her life in the Vernon Center area.
She taught piano and loved flowers. Florence maintained a large
collection of photos of her family and the town. We were fortunate
to be able to use some of them to give you an opportunity to meet
Florence, and experience a bygone time.
Florence was a
treasure.........a sweet and gentle woman. She knew the
history of this community better than most. My only regret is that
I didn't have a tape recorder running the few times I talked with
her. We invite you to meet the friends and family of
Florence Brown and pay a visit to the Vernon Center of a time long
past.................
