Center Telephone Office and Mobile Station
"The telephone office was located on the corner
of main street where the car wash is now. The upstairs was
the telephone office and the downstairs was a mortuary.
The gasoline station was beside it next to the highway. It
was a Mobile Station and run by Jody McMonagle. The
telephone operator was my Grandmother, Clara McMonagle, and
she lived in the office living quarters with her daughter,
Barbara Peterson".
