Face Lift

Vernon Center Water Tower Gets Face Lift!

As you may have noticed the water tower is no longer blue!  When we knew the tower would have to be painted for maintenance purposes, the Council decided to change the color.    Here it is:

Upon seeing the "new look", a resident of nearby Willow Creek was heard to say:

"Mein Gott im Himmel Marta!

Da Norveigens on dat Council painted da dang ting beige!

At the time the decision on color was being made, we circulated a newsletter asking for suggestions for "themes" and colors.  Unfortunately we did not receive any responses.  There were a lot of "possibilities", however.  Here are some of the ideas that could have been submitted!   I thought you might enjoy seeing what the water tower could have looked like, had some of these ideas been presented!

This one could have been submitted by "Noy Farms"

I guess this one is pretty obvious!

This one could have been submitted by Joel Brandts! A potential "Cranberry Hollow" submission!
Paul Brandts could have sent in this one! Jayne Doyen might have submitted this one.  Remember the Rooster?

This was one Sue Schilling actually did suggest: A Military Motiff.  Especially effective when you don't want your visitors to know where they are! Roxie could have submitted this one.  It would have been a great way to advertise!
