The Elevator

In the early morning of October 25, 2005, the sky lit up and the ground shook when the Grain Elevator owned by Crystal Valley Co-op, exploded, sending a 200 foot high fireball into the air, taking the top section of the elevator and it's roof with it.  While six people were injured in the blast, all were rescued in time and thankfully recovered.  It was an event that rallied the town and brought about acts of bravery by many.  

Since that day, Crystal Valley has set about re-building, bigger and better than before.  What follows is a series of images of the Elevator.....as it was before the explosion, after the explosion and now:
